2019 ISPA Conference & Expo Speaker ApplicationThank you for your interest in presenting an Education Session at the 2019 ISPA Conference & Expo, to be held at the Venetian Las Vegas September 11-13, 2019.Submitted applications will be thoroughly reviewed by the Speaker Selection Task Force, a committee of International SPA Association members. Upon review, select presenters will be contacted for interviews prior to moving to the final select phase. All applicants will be notified of their status by May of 2019.For your proposed session to be considered, your completed application must be submitted by midnight, ET, January 25, 2019.It is recommended that you complete the application in one setting and hit the save button if you plan to step away from the application for a period of time. Your session will time out due to inactivity. Education Session Speaker Expectations - ISPA attendees benefit from attending a session that fulfills the promise that was given in the initial description. Please provide a detailed description that specifically reflects the content and goals of your presentation. -The ISPA audience is comprised of individuals who are already experts in their field. Presentations and information should be advanced with specific ideas and suggestions for immediate implementation. - Speaking opportunities should be for the sole purpose of sharing information and educating the audience and not to promote a brand, service or product(s). - The ISPA audience appreciates speakers who understand the spa industry and can relate to the issues facing their profession. Create a presentation which is deeply meaningful to attendees by researching the industry, using available ISPA resources and attending as much of ISPA Conference as possible. - The ISPA audience finds great value in a complete educational experience that includes supplemental information such as handouts and presentation slides. As a selected speaker, meeting set deadlines for providing materials to ISPA is essential to the success of your session.
