The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) in collaboration with the Minnesota Council on HIV/AIDS Care and Prevention wants to reduce new HIV infections by increasing use of Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). PrEP is a pill taken every day by HIV-negative people to reduce the risk of getting HIV. It is currently available under the brand name Truvada®
Purpose of survey
We are surveying HIV negative people who have never taken PrEP. We would like to hear your opinion about what makes it difficult to access and use PrEP.
The information we collect will be used to:
• Identify gaps in PrEP services.
• Understand challenges to accessing and using PrEP.
• Identify possible solutions to make it easier to access and use PrEP.
Length of survey
The survey will take about 10 minutes.
This survey is anonymous, and you have the right not to answer any questions that you don’t want to. Your decision to complete or not to complete this survey will not affect your use of HIV prevention, care and treatment services or other services in any way. Your name and address are not required and our findings will be presented anonymously.
