Thank you for your interest in our study!
EurekaFacts is holding research interviews to see how 4th, 8th, and 12th grade students work through a new interactive survey from the Department of Education that will be used by thousands of schools across the country. The
will take place online and it can be scheduled for whenever you are free. As a thank-you for helping us “test the test”, your child would receive a
$25 e-gift card
from a major credit card company. You would also receive a
$15 e-gift card
for helping your child participate in the study.
The survey the students are testing asks about the structure of their household and family but the information they enter into the actual survey will only be used to improve the survey. Also, the survey will not request any information that could be used to identify you or your family members, like names or addresses. Instead, the survey will ask generic questions like the number of siblings your child has. The data we will be saving will come from questions the interviewer asks your child, like about how easy or difficult it is to understand what the survey is asking. Research staff may record audio and video to remember your child’s feedback but these recordings will not be shared outside of the project team and will be deleted as soon as we write our report on the survey.
Would you like to see if we can include your child in the study? It will take about 5 minutes.
