NYC Department of Education

Emotionally Responsive Practice (ERP)

You are invited to enroll your school in a professional development series on Strengthening Emotionally Responsive Practice, sponsored by the Office of Early Childhood Education in partnership with Bank Street College. ERP is a research-based program built on the understanding that the emotional well-being of children impacts their learning in the classroom. ERP participants will gain a deeper understanding of the way early childhood students develop and learn. There is no cost to schools for participation, but all schools must meet the participation requirements for Emotionally Responsive Practice (ERP) in 2013-14.

Please contact Kelly Alexander at kmedora@schools.nyc.gov with any questions about ERP.
