Minnesota Department of Health
The Draft MN Suicide Prevention Plan 2015-2020 is available for public comment until Monday, January 26, 2015
.
This
draft suicide prevention state plan
was developed in 2014 by a state-level public-private taskforce. It includes goals and objectives for all of Minnesota (not just Minnesota state agencies) and is based on the 2012 U.S. Surgeon General’s National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.
The
draft suicide prevention state plan
does not include a detailed implementation plan, timeline, benchmarks or responsible agencies. An advisory committee will be formed in 2015 to develop and monitor a two-year work plan to operationalize this plan.
To help us determine our implementation priorities and identify potential partners, please provide your feedback by Monday 1/26/15.
