Can NVivo be supported using blended learning?

1200-1300, Thursday 15 October
#nvivoysj

How are researchers using technology?  What are the influencing factors to encourage use of digital tools? A project conducted by Annette Webb at York St John University was piloted earlier in the year.  An online package was created to support researchers with NVivo, software to help analyse qualitative data.  The online course used the Ten Days of Twitter model originally created by Helen Webster as part of a blended learning approach.  This webinar will share lessons learnt from utilising this approach, and discussions around challenges and benefits experienced by users will be facilitated.

Confirmed speakers include Jane Rand, York ST John University and Helen Webster, Newcastle University

The format of the session will be mainly discussion and will appeal to researchers and trainers interested in using technology for data collection in qualitative research. To get the best from the session you will need a headset, although ordinary earphones will suffice.  If you wish to contribute to the session, you will need a microphone in order to talk to us, but there is also a chat facility by which you can communicate if you don’t have a microphone.
